Stop MAKE-ing Machine

This work is a performance by machines that are improvisationally composed of everyday items and motors. The machines in this installation are unstable and break down easily. I presented machines as coincidences in this work as oppose to the repetitive and continuous nature of machines.

この作品は日用品とモーターを即興的に組み合わせてできた機械によるパフォーマンスです。それらは不安定ですぐに壊れてしまいます。人々が機械に期待する反復的な持続性に対し、この作品の機械達は純粋に出来事として提示されます。この作品は機械が動き始めてから壊れてしまうまでの映像をインターネットにアーカイブするプロジェクトとして始まりました。
