This is the series of paintings on uncertain family photographs found at flea markets. Each mechanical component painted on the photograph is appropriated from different sources of assembly drawings. By laying out these mechanical parts in the same plane, the assembled fictional machine seems to preexists. A composition of the paintings presents the state of something in the middle of being formed. That is not only the fictional contraption but also uncertain family narrative alluded by the photographs.

安西がフリーマーケット等で見つけてきたアノニマスな家族写真の上に、機械などの組立図から引用してきたパーツの図像を重ねています。
この作品では「何かが形作られる前の状態」に焦点を当てており、パズルのように組み合わされたアセンブリーの図は、まるでこのような機械が存在しているかのような印象を与えるでしょう。これらのダイアグラムは１つの具体的な目的（特定の機械を組み立てる）の為にデザインされていますが、コラージュの要に扱う事で空想の機械の組立図となっています。
複数の家族写真は何らかの記憶や歴史を想起させるものですが、具体的な物語は伝わってきません。これは思い出される前、言葉にされる前の曖昧な記憶の状態と似ています。
それぞれは独立した作品であり、組み合わせは展示ごとに異なり、またコレクターは気に入った作品を買って自分で組み替えることもできるようになっています。
